Our Program

Kingdom Life Academy currently serves 8th grade and high school students.
Each student applying to KLA must have a current state test record or take a placement test before being accepted into the program. Students who are entering either the 8th or 9th grade, are between the ages of 13-15, and have a minimum of a 6th grade competency level in math and language arts may apply to KLA.Submitting an application to KLA does not guarantee acceptance into the program. After you have submitted the application it will be reviewed by the Director and a family interview will be scheduled. After the interview, and any necessary testing, KLA will contact the parent with with a letter of acceptance or denial.
A student may graduate KLA in no less than 3 years and may be enrolled for no more than 5 years. If a student has a failing overall average, at the end of the school year, for any year in attendance, then that student will be permanently dropped from the program. Upon successful completion of the program a KLA student will be awarded a high school diploma, and potentially be graduating with certifications in their chosen field of interest, from TJC's West Campus.
It is important to note that traditional public school and KLA count credits differently. A student who spends a year at KLA may not be able to enroll back into a public school in the next grade level. If you are interested in applying for your child to attend KLA is is suggested that you plan on this being the program they will graduate from.
